Blender – Grease Pencil

SUNDAYS 8:30 – 12:15pm

8/31/25 to 9/21/25

Blender is taking the industry by storm and features a very handy 2D drawing and animation tool called Grease Pencil.

Grease Pencil is a type of Blender object that allows you to draw in 3D space. It can be used to create traditional 2D animation, cut-out animation, motion graphics, storyboards and more.

As a tool, GP is perfect for 2D animators and storyboard artists who’d like to create outstanding 2D art and storyboards that come together quickly and look great. Emphasis in this workshop will be placed on creating storyboards using Grease Pencil … which is a growing trend in the 2D animation community.

This workshop covers many techniques such as navigation, basic objects manipulation, drawing tools, stroke editing, layers, animation, modifiers and scene editing.
