Adobe Illustrator gives you new creative freedom that lets you realize your ideas quickly and powerfully. Tight integration with other software allows you to produce extraordinary graphics for print, video, the web, and mobile devices. This course gives students a practical, working experience with the basics of Adobe Illustrator, as well as all the major features of the program.
The lessons are built around the concepts and practices of graphic design. We’ll work with the drawing, design and organisational tools and methods of the program, as well as Typography, Image Trace and Live Paint, Gradient Mesh, 3D, Symbols and Perspective. We’ll make clear the mysterious ways of Illustrator.
Prerequisite: Working knowledge of the computer. Students should have a Mac or PC with Adobe Illustrator loaded onto it.
