ZBrush 101 - Basics (Essentials)

ZBrush is a revolutionary digital tool that has been taking the world by storm with its unique tools and feature sets. ZBrush allows artists to take their creations to a whole new level... giving them the ability to create stunning models that stand out from all others with amazing amounts of detail and an abundance of crafted character elements.
This 8-week basics class will thoroughly cover the interface of ZBrush and how it actually works. By utilizing basic sculpting techniques you will learn to confidently work out ideas for visual development in a variety of creative fields, including Film, Television, Games, and Consumer Products.
Instructor: Danny Williams is an amazing artist who, as a teacher, is at his best helping others using exquisitely well-planned lessons to learn, grow and master the art of sculpting, molding and most importantly, having fun learning ZBrush.
Prerequisite: Students will need their own copy of Maxon ZBrush. Equipment needed for this class should include a 2nd monitor, a full keyboard and a 3-button mouse. Ideally, it is advised that a pen tablet also be used.
Class Length: 30 hours
