FRIDAYS 6:15 – 10:00pm
2/14/25 to 4/4/25
There is no point in a great idea sitting in your head… or on your computer. There are so many opportunities for you to make your own films, publish your own books and produce your own plays there are no excuses why you cannot and should not.
This class will cut a great deal of red tape as it teaches you structure, formatting, story development, character development and dialogue. Using YOUR project, we will help you craft the best outline and start you on the path of finishing what you haven’t yet started. So, what are you waiting for? Is your idea a screenplay, TV show, novel or play? In this class you’ll find out and put your idea into motion. All stories are welcome, and bold originality will be encouraged. No cookie cutters here. We want to help you tell the story only you can tell.
Duration: 8 weeks (30 hours)
Prerequisite: Bring at least 2 story ideas you’d like to develop as a script. Students are advised to have a copy of Final Draft loaded on their computer. It is also helpful to have a working knowledge of Final Draft or similar script-writing programs.
