Nomad Sculpt

SATURDAYS 12:30 – 4:15pm

8/9/25 to 8/30/25

Hi, this is Mike Milo…  Have you ever wanted to sculpt something in 3D but had no idea how to do it? Me too! Do you ever say to yourself “Boy, I wish I could make cool 3d stuff out of my drawings to print on a 3D printer?” Me too!

Well friends, it can now be done! I’d like to teach you how to use a magical mobile app called Nomad Sculpt and, compared to the spaghetti of other 3D programs, it’s a dream. It’s available for your iPad and an Apple Pencil (your finger works too, but it’s a lot more complicated,) or any Samsung Galaxy tablet.

Join me for this class on how to use this incredibly simple program!  Learn how to make really cool and fun 3D sculpts from your own drawings or anything you might find on the web. Light and texture your characters, render them out and even export them out to Blender and Maya to be animated through a plug-in (although we won’t delve into that much detail for this first class.) You’ll also learn how to make alpha brushes to deform geometry and make things like skin and hair stand out better.

When you’re done, your character can then be uploaded to a 3D printing website and/or print out. (Cost of printer not included!)

Duration: 4 weeks (15 hours)
