AI Coding with ChatGPT

In this class, you’ll learn how to code anything for AI using ChatGPT! No,really. The AI revolution puts the power to write software applications in the hands of you, the uninitiated artist. Get ahead of the AI tsunami and learn how to leverage the tech revolution instead of being swept away by it.

You’ll dive into the realm of coding with our innovative course designed for those who are starting from square one. “AI Coding with ChatGPT” is your entree to becoming proficient in coding for AI. Everything from prompt engineering for AI videos to writing Python scripts for CG, having ChatGPT help guide you with creating the right scripts. But more importantly, how to use the AI power of ChatGPT to do the heavy lifting in complex applications!

For Python – You’ll discover that ChatGPT is like a translation primer for Python – the language that powers animation studios and tech giants alike. By the end of this class you’ll know enough Python concepts to implement and bug fix the code that ChatGPT is generating. We’ll take a look at the actual ChatGPT API and how to incorporate its AI right into our Python scripts.

Finally, we’ll look at how Github’s Copilot can think ahead of you and write out tedious lines of code before you even realize that you need them!

Prerequisite: Basic computer knowledge and use. Helpful is an understanding of software such as Unreal Engine, Blender, Maya,
Photoshop, ZBrush, etc.

Class Length: 15 hours
Duration: 4 weeks (15 hours)

Prerequisite: It is advised that you have some familiarity with Adobe products, CG programs like Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, etc. You should have a 2020 or newer Mac or PC with 8 GB of VRAM and at least 16 GB of RAM. A large screen monitor (2 is best!) and the use of a full keyboard with a 3-button mouse is essential, especially for anyone using a laptop.
