Character Visual Development

This course teaches the process of character design as it relates to various forms within the entertainment industry. Whether you're interested in creating characters for animation, games, graphic novels, or live-action, we will discuss the character design pipeline as it is commonly used today.

We will explore the basics of storytelling and character archetypes and delve into what makes iconic and memorable characters that withstand the test of time.

Prerequisite: Basic to intermediate understanding of Photoshop. Familiarity with Wacom products for sketching and illustration strongly recommended.
