Unity Basics

The Unity Engine is one of the most popular software packages out there. It is a platform engine that you can use to create Video Games, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and much more. Unity has so much use in entertainment design that it is a good idea to stay ahead and learn how it works.

This class will introduce you to the basics of the Unity Engine. The class is designed with the assumption that you have either never used Unity or you have very little experience using it. You will start by learning the basic UI layout and how to navigate without getting lost or overwhelmed. Topics covered will include Game Objects, Terrains, PreFabs, Materials, Textures, Components, Lights, Scripts (but this is not a C# class), Builds and much more.

By the end of the class you will have a basic understanding of Unity and will be able to use it with confidence. The class will be fun and you will likely very much enjoy it!
