Script Development

There is no point in a great idea sitting in your head… or on your computer. There are so many opportunities for you to make your own films, publish your own books and produce your own plays there are no excuses why you cannot and should not. This class helps show you how to take your “brilliant idea” and, in one week, lay the groundwork for turning it into a viable project. Whether it is the great American novel or the indie film, it is time for you to get your property out in the world.

This class will cut a great deal of red tape as it teaches you structure, formatting, story development, character development and dialogue. Using YOUR project, we will help you craft the best outline and start you on the path of finishing what you haven’t yet started. So, what are you waiting for?

Is your idea a screenplay, tv show, novel or play? In this one week intensive class, you’ll find out and put your idea into motion. All stories are welcome, and bold originality will be encouraged. No cookie cutters here. We want to help you tell the story only you can tell.

Prerequisite: Bring three ideas, working knowledge of Final Draft, watch The Godfather, Jaws (Book and film) , Quality Problems, And Then There Was Eve and Sister Cities (Book and film).
