Shotgun is a production review, tracking, scheduling, pipeline, and asset management tool. This workshop is recommended for anybody interested in launching a career in production management and supervision.

- Day 1: fundamentals, vocabulary, UI layout, how the tables, fields and statuses interact with each other, and a peek into Shotgun under the hood
- Day 2: mini-workshops/role-play's of using Shotgun as an Artist, Supervisor, Manager, Producer and Production Tech Support

An hour of Day 2 will focus on your creating your own project, shots, tasks, pages, etc. We want you to leave feeling closer to being a SuperUser!

NOTE: Please bring earbuds/headphones for Day 2!

Instructor: Heather Dinkins
Heather Dinkins graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a bachelor’s degree in Theatrical Stage Management. With more than 20 years of professional Production Management experience in feature films; she is currently the Technology Project Manager for Method Studios, an award-winning VFX facility with studios located worldwide. Working as the front-end administrator of Shotgun, she trains, triages and manages general administration duties as they relate to development efforts needed to support active projects and a variety of workflows.
