Learn the principles and basics of video game development using Unity. This overview class will help you understand game development by going through the basics of game design, graphics, programming and, most importantly, problem solving.

The class begins with a very basic game level design provided by the instructor that you will be walked through step-by-step. Once you understand the level design, you will then use that knowledge to go into Unity and create a basic level layout to see how it will function in the game engine.

The class will then play-test their projects to look for bugs and, at that point, you will have your very first game level, made by you! But it gets better: by the time the students complete the class, each student will develop their own original game design and create their own level, having fun along the way!

This class is absolutely essential for the aspiring game developer who has never created a game from start to finish. This is the best and easiest way to get started and move on to more 3D game development in the future!

Software used:
