Ricardo Silva started his Broadcast Design career back in the 1990's after working for several years as a creative professional in Advertising. He has had the opportunity to collaborate in the creation of branding campaigns and graphics for an assortment of well-known entertainment giants including National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Telemundo, NBC, Univision, TLC, Disney, Fox Sports International and many others.
He holds two Emmy® nominations from 2001 and 2008 for "Outstanding Main Title Design" by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) and has been working for more than a decade in many freelance capacities for several film, television, production and entertainment studios throughout the United States and Latin America. He is also the founder of SUGARfx a plugin company that provides creative solutions for editors and designers in the Television and Film industries.
As a passionate 3d designer, animator and instructor, he has been certified by Maxon and has written a couple of interactive books.
