Chuck Maiden

Chuck Maiden is an experienced primetime BG painter, layout artist, BG designer and color stylist. He is well versed in Photoshop and also has experience with Painter and SketchUp. He has also been traditionally trained in background painting by Disney’s Serge Michaels and in background design by Gary Mouri.

He currently works on American Dad! at Fox Television Animation as a color designer for backgrounds, characters, props and FX.

Additionally, Chuck worked in different roles on King of the Hill at Film Roman; as a Background Painter, Layout artist and Background Layout/Sketchup Supervisor. In the background painting department, he worked with traditional water colors, later transitioning to Photoshop.
