Avid Media Composer 1
This introductory editing course will include cutting scenes using Avid Media Composer and to create video for a variety of formats in film, television, the production of DVDs and online video.
While it is introductory, this editing course will provide an in-depth look at all of the key features of the AVID interface, its seamless interoperability. Students will be using actual footage in order to gain a firm understanding of the post production process and workflow output features.
Topics include: basic setup, understanding and adjusting preferences, capturing video and audio, trimming techniques, audio editing, effects, finishing and final output. This introductory course is designed for those who want to learn how to apply Avid Media Composer as their primary tool in professional video editing.
Prerequisite: Working knowledge of the computer.
